Visit the Playa de Las Americas
If you are a party animal, you really must visit Playa de Las Americas. It is an amazing place, which is renowned for its 24-hour festivals and party culture.
The beach is a kilometre long, allowing thousands of revellers to gather there for the special events that are held here on a regular basis. The rest of the year, partygoers are kept busy and happy by the numerous bars and nightclubs that are based along the beach.
During the day families also enjoy this beautiful beach. There is a fantastic array of water sports available, in the area.
Take a boat trip
Sitting on the beach is always enjoyable, but most people do not want to do that every day. They like to get out and about. A boat trip is the perfect way to experience this beautiful island in a different way. There are all kinds available.
You can go on a fishing trip, go whale or dolphin watching, snorkelling or diving. The choice of craft is amazing. Operators on the island use everything from sailboats to catamarans. It is easy to find a boat trip that suits you and your family.
Go on a submarine safari
The yellow submarine is a popular Tenerife attraction. On this craft, you get to explore the world beneath the Marina San Miguel, in Southern Tenerife. If you do want to go on this trip, it is very important to book in advance.
Most people take the one-hour exploration trip, but it is also possible to enjoy a day trip on the submarine. This takes you from Marina San Miguel to Playa de las Americas where you can spend 2.5 hours before taking the return journey.
Visit Siam Park
Siam Park is billed as the most spectacular water park in Europe, and it lives up to that reputation. The park covers 46 acres and offers an amazing choice of water rides and slides.
Amongst the highlights are the Kinnaree, which is a 660ft Proslide and the Naga Racer, which is a six-lane racing slide. Also popular are the Wave Palace, a wave pool with a beautiful white sand beach.
The Tower of Power is a vertical ride that takes riders past sharks and stingrays. It really is an amazing place to spend the day.
Take in a show
Entertainment is at the heart of the island’s culture and it is offered in many formats. One of the best nights out is to be had at Showtime. Their current show, The Sound of Musicals, is hugely popular.
You get to enjoy a nice dinner while watching a variety show featuring dance and music inspired by the most popular musicals. It is not only a great night out it is also fantastic value for money.
